About her.
Hi, I’m Sarah and I created this community to connect motivated women, like you, looking to be the best versions of themselves with resources to learn from and with opportunities to share with others how you can help in your special, unique ways. Whether you’re looking to start your own business, grow an email list with the one you already have, build a personal brand, shift your mindset and stop getting in your own way, finally implement a healthier life that’s sustainable, find a way to juggle it all, or even how to be take on lawn care and fix a weed eater, this is the place for you.
HER Story
I have always loved creativity and communication, and I've always loved marketing and advertising. I'm a complete sucker for a good marketing campaign and secretly I always wanted to be involved in something like that. However, I ended up on a different path and was in academia for 8.5 years. After I got my PhD (and for a good while during the journey!), I knew that academic life and all that it entailed (and didn't entail) was not for me.
Have you ever dreamed of doing something completely different than what you’re doing now? But then always stop yourself, thinking it doesn’t make sense because you’ve already put so much time into this other thing you’ve been doing and it’s just too late in the game for you to completely start over? If that resonates with you in the slightest, you’re going to be excited to read this interview with Aerine Mountain. She recently made some big changes, leaving behind a 5 year career as a salon owner to pursue her passion of holistic health and open a wellness center with her husband.
her business
I got to sit down with podcast host, speakers, authors and sales trainer Bill Caskey where he shares his personal experience building a personal brand and how to get over some of the fears that hold us back from getting "out there" [VIDEO].
If I give into the fear, I will not grow. Riding out the fear to get to the freedom on the other side is my goal now. Every time I have a setback (or, as I like to think of them, a plot twist), I know I am one step closer to the freedom. Because having a setback is proof that I'm trying.
Find out WHY you need to be using hashtags and HOW to use them to grow your business with the right customers with Instagram Expert Joanne Bourgault [VIDEO].

The TV shows all make it look so simple, quick and easy. Buying a home can be lots of things, quick and easy are usually pretty far down on the list. More often that not it's exciting, stressful, scary, exhilarating, overwhelming, emotional and much more, all in varying degrees.

her MINDSET
See All in Her Mindset
If you’ve ever for a moment thought I’ve had it figured out or all together, here are 5 things I’m embarrassed to admit, but want you to know about me in case you can relate to any of them and know you’re not along.
This will forever be my mission, my purpose in life. I will make a cognizant effort to never hold back again, and I will help others feel the magic of really ‘showing up’ and living the life they only dream of.
That’s what I want to share with you ladies, when you are walking in your path, the one made just for you and your passions, you shine just like these Amy’s. But you are never going to replicate someone’s success by following their road map.
her People
Ever wondered how people make marriages last decade, after decade, after decade? It might not be easy, but it sure is worth it!! After thirty+ years of marriage, and five children I can say without a doubt our journey has been fun + beautiful, but it didn’t come without a good dose of messy.
As he pressed against me, pinning me down on the staircase, I felt the beautiful swirling pattern of the carpet leave an imprint on my cheek. I shed a single tear as I looked through the iron spindles of our staircase and into the fireplace. A somberness washed over me and I thought to myself, “He’s going to kill me tonight.”
Being a stay at home mom is extremely rewarding. Some days I am in awe that this is my life, that I get to be with my babies daily and how grateful I am for this opportunity. The flip side to the extremely rewarding side is also the extremely hard side. I truly struggle with knowing who I am and having a true identity.

In Chinese Medicine winter is the season of the water element and the kidneys. The water element is associated with circulation and flow and the kidney considered the root of qi or energy. Winter is the season of yin, a time of rest, meditation and introspection, conserving and receiving energy (not doing) and nourishing the kidneys. It is said the more rest one receives during the winter months the more harvest we can expect in late summer and fall.

I don't have to tell you that the person who is known has a better chance of getting the customer, the job, the invitation to be interviewed on a podcast or asked to speak at an event.
